A typical air conditioner consists of evaporator and compressor coils, compressor,
refrigerant, outside and inside fans, a condenser, and evaporator. Refrigerant flows
through the coils, alternating between an evaporated gas and condensed liquid,
and transfers heat from air inside the cooling space to the outside air. The air is
circulated by the fans - warm air arrives, passes over the coils, and cold air is
blown back into the cooling space. The key mechanism in this process is the heat
exchange between the refrigerant and the circulating air.

- The first catalyst breaks the surface tension (van der Waals) forces between oil
molecules. This breaks up the oil fouling and allows for maximum efficiency in heat exchange.
- The second catalyst causes the refrigerant to evaporate at a lower temperature. This pulls
more heat from the supply air so the fan blows colder air
- The lubricity agent increases the lubricity of the compressor oil by up to 54% (SAE). This means the
compressor will perform better and last longer.
